Do we use cookies?
No. Timezone Matcher does not use cookies of any kind — not tracking cookies, not session cookies, not third-party advertising cookies.
What we use instead: localStorage
Your preferences (dark/light mode, language, 24h/AM-PM, saved city groups) are stored using your browser's localStorage API. This is local to your device and browser, is never transmitted to any server, and expires only if you clear your browser data. This is not a cookie and does not fall under EU Cookie Directive requirements, but we disclose it here for transparency.
Third-party services
If you follow links to Google Calendar, Outlook, Ko-Fi, or Stripe, those services may set their own cookies. We have no control over this and recommend reviewing their cookie policies.
Analytics
If we use analytics in the future, we will only use cookie-free, privacy-preserving solutions (such as Plausible Analytics) and will update this page accordingly. We will never use Google Analytics or advertising-based trackers.
